About MeHi, I'm Andy and I'm thrilled to be one of the co-founders of this website. I believe it's my mission in life to support people in living a happier and healthier life and to help raise the consciousness of the planet so that we can all move towards a more harmonious and sustainable lifestyle. I hope that Holistic Local goes some way in helping to achieve that. I have many interests in life, but one of my biggest passions is spiritual development and learning about the nature of our reality, the universe, and of course ourselves! I'm an explorer and I see life as a big adventure. I love exploring different spiritual philosophies but I'm generally drawn to more practical and experiential systems like shamanism and I've had some life-changing experiences using a plant teacher called Ayahuasca in South America. I absolutely love travelling and exploring new places. Nothing gets me more excited than getting on a plane (ok, not so eco-friendly I know!) to some far off destination, although sadly I haven't had the time to do much travelling for quite awhile now, but I'll be doing more of that soon I hope. I love South America, I've been 3 times now, once to Peru and twice to Brazil. Machu Picchu in Peru is simply one of the most awe-inspiring places I've ever visited and I'm hoping to go back some day soon.
